Music nowadays is nothing compared to this(IMO) However, you need to take into account what people thought of this sort of music when they grew up listening to much older stuff, and so on and so on. Music was created by man, and so it evolves depending on how mankind evolves. Sadly it is evolving into something that most of us do not find appealing. But that is no reason to hate someone for liking fallout boy or GAGA. ( I don't like them...

The reason it wasn't so 19 years ago watch4 is because the industry still had some degree of people in top places who loved music, artistry and innovation, unfortunately in these multi-national, multi-conglamorate times the top jobs seem to be all taken up by buisness men, interested only in profits and jumping on the musical bandwagon in order to do so, basically all the record labels are jumping on each others bandwagons and the music industry is stale as a result.

Yes, they've been corporal but had a taste at the same time. That taste has left them. If you can name one extremely good and popular modern band (Not Coldplay, god they're awful) that everyone has been infatuated with, then I might believe you. However it's simply not true. The last true "Rockstar" HUGE band was in the 90s and that was NIrvana.

It helps to remember that for every legendary band from 15-20 years ago, there were two dozen shit ones. It's easy to say "music was so much better back then" because we've only remembered the good bands and forgotten all the bad ones. Besides, in 2025 there'll be people blathering on about how much deeper the music was back in 2010.
The music industry have ALWAYS been capitalist douchebags, and popular music has always been a bandwagon. The only thing that changes is the style of music.
